I know, and if you look at the bottom of the door I think there's some kind of Miller. I swear they're not mine.

I try to have some Budweiser on hand for the people who think my homebrew "doesn't taste like beer"...whatever! Also, I use it to make beer-butt chicken on the grill.

Somebody on another forum said it's also good for boiling bratwurst. That Miller must be 5 years old at least. I cna't ever remember anybody drinking that stuff at my house. Must be Sancho's.

I don't.... If they don't like my beer, screw them.
(I won't defile my fridge with swill)
They can go to the Liquor stor and buy their own.
Did I mention that I live in a dry county?

There's nothing really wrong with Budweiser. It's like I told a friend of mine the other night: I may be a beer snob, but I'm also an alcoholic. Whaddaya got?

I see a bottle of Sam Adams Black Lager...yummy.
I have 5 gallons of a 1554 clone going right now...can't wait.

If you look in my fridge, there is a can of Coors, that I use to make BBQ sauce.
FYI, shiner or Ziegen Bock is best used to steam brats.

Thanks for the Shiner/Brat tip. Will try it this weekend when I brew! I like to slow cook stuff while doing my brewing. The smell of grilling and beer boiling... positively heady stuff...

A use for that budweiser. Next time you are trying to explain the difference between homebrew and comercial beer, well, crack both open and let them taste. It saves about an hour, especially if that can is a couple of years old.

My boss drinks Bud exclusively, and at 72 years old he ain't gonna change. He also has a habit of stopping by in the afternoon for a beer. For what he pays me I can certainly keep a few bottles of Bud on hand. Also it's his beer, about half the time he stops by he has his own beer and he leaves the leftovers at my house. I guess I could be an assshole and insist he drink something I made, something he doesn't like, but I'm not that kind of a beer snob that I dictate what other people drink at my house.
