Stove top troubles!

Hey,
There has got to be someone out there who has spilled some wort on the stove top. That dried-on, cooked-on stuff is the most stubborn substance known to me. I have a standard enamel top, electric stove. I have soaked the top with PBW with limited results. There has got to be an ancient chinese secret out there. Help!

eeerrrrrrr....... don't let it dry????? I've only had two batches over-boil, both times I cleaned it up right away, it sounds like I got lucky in cleaning it right away.

Damn rotten luck, there. I'll sell you a brand-new range for real cheap!!! j/k

Have you tried dribbling some hot water on the wort?

If not, a chisel and hammer might be your only salvation, if your wife hasn't kicked your ass out of the house already.
