I just saw Springboard as the New Belgium Spring seasonal. Does anyone know what style this is? Does this mean I will not be getting Biere de Mars this year?

Beire de Mars is no more... sadly. IMO, Springboard falls widely into the Saison category, not Dupont-like but more Famtome-ish. I thought it was quite good and I love the fact it is “spiked” with La Follie.

Thanks for the info. Sounds like Springboard is worth trying, but I wish they would keep brewing the Biere de Mars!

It totally has that Fantome-ish funky flavor. It's pretty good

ive been drinking it for the past two weeks, its quite delicious. I really didnt care for biere de mars, and i gave it a solid second chance before comming to that conclusion. Saison on the other had was wonderful!! Peace,Chris

Drinking a Springboard as I type this. Yeah, it's pretty darned good - the GF doesn't care for it as much; she's more of a 1554 gal. I can live with that, too!

Glad to hear the Odell IPA is worth the effort as well - but then again, aren't all Odell products? ;)
