I made it out for the Lovefest and it was great! Probably the best of the few tastings I've been to at the Bricks. The beers were top notch and the witty banter between brewers was well worth the price of admission.

Yeah it was a good show. I enjoyed the Temptation the most I think. And the vintage JW Lees. Which night did you go?
I was there on Wednesday. I'm so glad they moved the tastings, for the most part, back to the Bricks.

Couldn't make it, but did hit RFD on Saturday after the auto show.

How was the show? My son and nephews went and I was supposed to go with them. My intention was to go to the show then hit one of the locals for some libation. But since my son and nephews are not yet of drinking age and my bro - in - law bailed...so did I.

It was very crowded. I hate crowds. Also, it seems the new convention center has NO drinking fountains - if you want something to drink, you have to stand in line and buy it. Bahstids.

Still, enjoyed a nice Three Philosophers and a French Dip at RFD and metro'd back to Virginia.

Had dinner tonight in Orlando at a place called Cafe Tu Tu Tango (not my choice, but the food was good - they only serve appetizers). Had a very nice Shipyard Honey Porter and the waiter also gave me a sample of Lost Coast Eight Ball Stout, which was a nice enough stout but nothing special.

I'm on a business conference and they have just about our entire days planned out, so almost no free time to do anything on our own. Tomorrow is a "fun day", though, will be taking the full tour over at Canaveral.

I was there back in October. I was surprised what a varied beer selection they had. They had some Great Divide Titan when I was there among many other things. And the tappas isnt bad. And the fire breathing dancing girls are always intriguing... And the cool thing is The Cricketer’s Arms is just a few blocks down the street from there so no need to drive for a decent selection of English milds.
