What kind of refridgerator is that Pappy? How many cornies will it hold? A shot of the inside would be greatly appreciated.

Very nice setup. I love the chalkboard idea. Can't wait till Christmas, I have everyone in the family getting me different different parts for my setup. Think I'm gonna cheat and buy a couple used corneys ahead of time so I can have 2 batches ready for when I get it!!
Oh yeah, and Pappy, can I have that beer. Damn it looks good!!!!

Actually, it looks like a Sanyo.

I have the same fridge and it holds two Cornies. Pappy, I'm curious where you put the CO2?
(I think it's the Sanyo. Looks incedibly like the one I have that has yet to get the taps installed.)
<Edit>It's under the blanket. :)</Edit>

Pappy, did you drill a hole in the side of the Sanyo for your CO2 tank? And if so any recomendations on where the safest place to drill might be? Just got my Sanyo and am quite nervous about killing it.
BTW - it seems that Pin Lock kegs are too wide to fit two inside. The skinnier Ball Locks fit better.

From looking inside the Sanyo, all the cooling is done by the plate along the back wall. The top and the sides should be clear to drill through. But yes, please advise. :) I want to drill holes in it soon.

Brian, I have read a couple of reports of people ruining their sanyo's by drilling in the top, within 8 inches of the back. There is apparently a small cooling line attached to top. Seems like it is okay to drill in the center of the top though.
Heard a couple of reports about drilling in the sides no lower than 3" from the top.
But the more success stories I hear the better I will feel!

that scares me now. damn. I called Sanyo for a schematic but they couldn't help me at all. They were only able to provide a parts list.
It looks like Pappy drilled a few inches from the back. Maybe he got lucky?

I think the Sanyo and the Kenmore are similar. It's true that all the cooling is done by the plate, so it's safe to drill anywhere as far as I can tell. The kegs are ball-lock and if you look at these pics, you'll see a good shot of where the hole for the CO2 line is (in the top, back corner). If you were to remove the rack in the door, there'd be room for a 10 lb CO2 bottle in the fridge itself. I like the setup the way it is and enjoy having a spot for glasses. I'm still on the honeymoon with this thing, often just standing there with a beer admiring the beauty. Whoever said that more beer gets consumed once you start keggin' was right!

I have the same model and didn't have any problems cutting a whole, I felt the inside walls when I first turned it on to make sure that there are no cooling elements there. I did not find and so it looks like the rear plate is the only area. So then I drilled away (~6" from the rear), no problems at all.
Pappy, is that just a simple "tee" fitting on your gas line?, I like the way you did that, at the moment I have my co2 tank inside.
But having it outside is a far better option for this fridge.

I actually bought a manifold from morebeer.com so I could easily control where the CO2 was going. I'm torn between having it outside and running two holes or putting it inside and having to reach in to turn it on or off.
anyway, I am going to put everything together before this weekend. I will be sure to post a picture. But really, it's going to look the same as everyone else's pictures. Still, Daddy's proud.

I understand that one of the criteria for defining an addiction is whether or not it takes the place of sex, e.g., would rather get high than have sex.
i think there is some wicked addiction going on here. I have never seen an internet site where men talk about "being in a hurry to drill her" in quite the way it's meant here!
Good luck with it men!
