Just finished sparging a batch of hefeweizen and found a whole bunch of boll weevils corpses clinging to the side of my lauter tun and on the top of the mash bed. Anyone know of any ill effects that they might impart on the beer? I'm thinking not, just wondering.

This was no kidding the best batch of HW I've come up with yet. I don't give credit to the weevils, though. I think I found my dream hefeweizen yeast in the Whitelabs German Hefeweizen IV. Closest to an authentic Bavarian weizen I've found yet.
