I need a lead on a sink adapter (kitchen faucet to garden hose) that has threads deep enough to seal in my faucet head. I tried the quick disconnect one at Home Depot but the damn thing pops off and sprays water everywhere.
Help?

Any hardware store or plumbing store has them, but you may need to ask someone.

Right, but the problem with them is the threads on my faucet are up inside the head about a 1/4 inch and 99% of the adapters I have found do not have enough length to reach.

I've been using the one that came with my waterbed for a long time now... so you might check at one of those stores.
I'm going to have my plumber neighbor put a T in the cold water line under the sink and install a regular garden faucet there to connect my chilling line to when needed.

I would think that your LHBS should sell them as well. Or try a store a good plumbing supply store, like contractors would use. You might be able to get from a restaurant supply hous but they would most likely have to order it.

I think I found one on Amazon.com that will work.
Python makes a brass version of the common faucet adapter if your real problem is the nylon threads are wearing.
