Well I am the proud owner of a new converted chest freezer.
We finally got it setup and everything was going well. I set it up at 12 lbs on the C02 guage and it flowed very well. It worked well for the first night and into the next day. Next to the pressure adjustment screw there is a tiny hole that I believed was the pressure release (blow-off) valve.
When we turned the kit on, there was a constant release out of that tiny hole. I belive this is the leak that caused the entire tank to empty in 24 hours.
I don't have a volume indicator, just a pressure indicator, but the store assured me that the 5lb. tank was full. The tank is considerably lighter so it definately lost its fair share of gas.
Should there be this pressure release hole? Why is there not a cover for this hole. Is it possible I have a leak somewhere else, how can I test for leaks elsewhere (obviously after I refilled my new tank)
Any help is appreciated..
