I use liquid Wyeast exclusively, but keep a pack of dry yeast as a back-up. I've never had to use the back-up, but may have to if my batch doesn't take off soon. Do I pitch it dry, or re-hydrate it? What are the re-hydrate directions, how much water, etc.?
Too busy and lazy to search, thanks...

I have not used dry yeast in a while. I never did anything but pitch it.

They say you should rehydrate it. Sanitize a coffee mug, put a cup of lukewarm water in it and stir in the yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 mins. and stir again then pitch. Easy as pie and no starter needed.
