Hi,
At the moment i only do extract brews but i am planning to move on to all grain. i'm creating a three vessel system consisting of two full sized kegs for the hot liqour tank and the boiling pot and a 15 gallon insulated cooler for the mash tun not an easy thing to buy in ireland had to order it for the us of a of ebay
(http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspag
ename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150065243717&rd=1&rd=1)
i've designed a control system for the hlt consisting of 2 commerical glasswasher heating elements 3kw each and a digial controller off a commerial oven so i'll be able to set it to boil or for sparaging temperature. i'm going to use a gas ring burner to heat the boiling tank.
The problem i have is i dont have the height in my shed to use gravity flow to feed each of the tanks so i was hoping to use a pump to send the wort from the mash tun to the boiling tank and use gravity flow for the hlt. i have a little giant air conditioning condensate pump that i was hoping to use.(http://www.lgpc.com/Product/ItemDetail.aspx?ProductID=601#) i know ill have to strip this pump to clean and sanitise it after each use but i dont want to pay over 100 euro for a magnetic pump. Do you this pump would be ok?

Failte there,

You might want to move your post here:

http://www.realbeer.com/discussions/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=40

That's the general homebrewing section, it'd certainly get seen by more folks that could help yis. Still your welcome to post here as long as you pay us in Biddy Early (are they actually still making that?)

thanks for the advice posted it in the wrong section. Don't know that beer i live in the west of ireland it might be a porthouse beer that you can only get in dublin we dont have any microbrewerys here at all like the porthouse just have to make do with guinness but i can live with that. Anyhow thanks again

Biddy's is (or was?) in Inagh actually. I heard that the owner had died so was unsure if they were still brewing. I've had their wares at Tigh Neachtain in Galway, though that was a couple of years ago.
