I have a batch of Pumpkin Ale in the bottle - 1/2 bottled in .5 Liter Ez-Cap and the other half in 1 Liter Flipper Bottles.
The beer in the .5 Liter bottles was carbonated after 10 days. The beer in the 1 Liter bottles is flat as heck after more than two weeks. All bottles were washed at the same time, etc.. I have heard all kinds of theories - that larger bottles carbonate quicker, that larger bottles take longer, I did not add enough priming sugar, that I should add more yeast.
What is going on? What the heck do I do?! I want bubbles.
