Are these beers all from their regular line up or are they bringing in specialty stuff for each event? Dont know if I can do the whole $220 but the American one sounds interesting although Id love to see a line up. Same with the Belgian and German. And what does dinner consist of? Our own choices or their choice? Doesnt Thor post on here sometimes? Hopefully he'll see this...

I'd be interested in the English tasting and possibly a couple of the others. I'd like more info as well.

They are doing this downstairs right? Is there a limited amount of tickets? There isnt a lot of room down there was just wondering how that was going to work.

Seems like a pretty ambitious schedule. I'm curious to see what the actual beers on offer will be.

I agree. It looks like they may be on a campaign to compete with DA and the Bricks / RFD tastings. I agree with Thetz that the space is small. I wonder if seating will be limited. And I like to see beer lists as well.

I emailed him and asked him to pop his head in and see if he could clear some of the questions up.

Join us for the three remaining events in our

This Monday...
England, November 13!
Our Beer Tasting Series travels to England to explore the wonderful world of light-in-alcohol-but-full-of-flavor British beers and stories of the British Colonies and Russian Czars. We start with session beers, including Coniston Bluebird Bitter. Next, we move on to stouts and porters, including Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout and Taddy Porter. For a grand finale, chef Ruth Gresser and birreria manager Thor Cheston are excited to present samplings of A Le Coq Imperial Extra Double Stout and two vintages of George Gale's Prize Old Ale (2000 and 2004).

To accompany these and other wonderful beers, we will serve an antipasto course with a cheese focus and a pizza course, one topped with smoked mozzarella and cherry tomatoes and one with ricotta cheese and roasted vegetables. Finishing the meal is a dessert sampler of tiramisu and chocolate salami.

Also, don't miss...

Sorry for the late response to this thread. We will be offering three courses, including appetizers and pizza and dessert if the beers warrant it. This coming tasting should be great. We are concentrating on British beers. We are putting Bluebird Bitter back on tap and we are going to to be tasting two vinages of George Gale's Prize Old Ale and an aged bottle of A. Le Coq's Extra Imperial Double Stout.
