This Australian beer commercial is mildly funny. I understand the beer is actually pretty decent.

www.pintzilla.com.

This is from Mid Atlantic Brewing New's Gregg Wiggins:

The Little Creatures Brewing Co. of Fremantle, Western Australia was
founded by the Australian-turned American-returned to Australia brewer
Phil Sexton, once of Portland's BridgePort Brewing Co. where he may be
best remembered for creating BridgePort IPA.

LC's flagship Little Creatures Pale Ale, which Phil has acknowledged is
his attempt to make an Australian version of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, is
now available across that country in bottles. (But if you ever find
yourself in 'Freo', Little Creatures' waterfront brewpub -- in a
converted Americas' Cup boat shed -- is one of the coolest places I've
ever raised a glass.)

I had heard that this beer had that characteristic, almost unknown in Australian beers, of tasting of something other than ice and fizz.

Mind you, I don't quite get the point of the advert.

I hadn't realised that it was based on SNPA, should have guessed though!!

I would have to say that I prefer Little Creatures pale ale, they are very similar but I find LCPA slightly fruitier and a lot smoother.

I've got a mate who spent a lot of time in Freo at the waterfront brewpub, it sounds like an awesome place.

Edit:
Just found this thread on an Aussie brewing forum, comparing SNPA and LCPA, sounds like its hard to get hold of a decent bottle of SNPA down there!
