I've decided my next batch will be a crowd-pleaser. I got the 4-pack of Sam Adams "Brewer-Patriot" collection, with beers brewed using recipes from colonial-revolutionary times. There's a beer called "1780 Root Beer", which I've seen a lot of negative comments about on this site, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't really care for root beer soda, but this brew was very good IMO.
I'd like to know if anyone has any information on what went into this beer so I can duplicate it.
