I always look forward to the coming of SN Celebration. I'll put my order in for a couple cases at my local beer store. I still have 4 bottles stashed from last year. I think I'll put them in the fridge today and enjoy a couple tonight.

I just found two bottles stashed in the back of the fridge - not sure what year they're from!

I still have a few bottles of Mad Elf from last year, as well as a bit of Snow Goose from last year and the year before.

Beer News

Winter’s Bourbon Cask Ale…$6.99/6pk
Winter’s wonderland is getting cozier this season with Winter’s Bourbon
Cask Ale, a rich, full-bodied seasonal beer hand-crafted by
Anheuser-Busch brewmasters. This new beer is sure to thaw bone-chilling
nights while tantalizing the taste buds with its smooth, robust flavor
and warm, tawny color. Brewed with dark roasted caramel malts and
all-imported hops and aged on toasted bourbon oak casks and whole
Madagascar vanilla beans.

Sam Adams Winter Lager…$7.49/6pk
The first thing one notices in a Samuel Adams Winter Lager is its color:
the deep brown of winter. Then comes the magical aroma which promises
something special on the tongue. The warm aroma of cinnamon and ginger
which blends with the roasty sweetness of the malted barley and hint of
citrus from the orange peel. And after that first sip the promise is
fulfilled. On the palate Samuel Adams Winter Lager is rich and full
bodied, robust and warming, a wonderful way to enjoy the cold evenings
that come with this season.

Rogue Santa’s Private Reserve…$4.49/22oz., $8.49/6pk
Rogue's annual holiday offering, Santa's Private Reserve, is a variation
of the classic Saint Rogue Red, but with double the hops--including
Chinook, and Centennial, and a mystery hop called Rudolph by head brewer
John "more hops" Maier! Due in Friday.

Allagash Interlude…$19.99/750ml
The first release in their experimental series, Allagash Interlude
pushes the limits of beer. An innovative brewing process, special
fermentations, and French oak barrel aging all contribute to a beer that
has remarkable wine-like qualities. Due in Friday.

Clay Pipe Hop-Ocalypse…$8.49/6pk
“The end of all IPAs.” Due in Friday

On Friday we’re also expecting the arrival of this year’s Budweiser
Brewmasters Reserve and Michelob Celebrate.

Stone Double Bastard will arrive next week. Call us if you’d like to
get your name on the list, and let’s keep our fingers crossed that the
supply is better than the 10th Anniversery Beer!
