hdb.org recipes are DME or LME?

For the extract recipes on hbd.org:

I think when creating a recipe, you specify liquid or dry malt extract, however in all the recipes submitted, it just lists lbs of malt extract and doesnt specify liquid or dry.

anyone understand this?

that is usually LME as far as I know. Never really thought about it. I always just assumed it was. That seems to be the main extract out there. Usually when there is only like a pound or so they will call for it by DME.

thats kinda what i thought too, but i wanted to make sure.... theres a 20% malt difference btwn the two.

you think it would specify (especially since when using the spreadsheet to create you specify dry or liquid).

So most extract brewers use liquid? is that accurate? if a recipe calls for like 6 lbs. but if its a lb or so they use dry (since the cans are usually 6-7 lb cans i guess)?
