I have tried this beer made two different ways(i didn't make it personally) and they are both really good for a person who likes bud and stuff and doesn't like dark beer.

4# X light dme
1/2# Victory Malt
1/2oz. Cascade
1/4oz. Hallertauer

You can use saflager lager yeast or the t-58 ale and they both come out nice

that t-58 will give MUCH different flavors than the s-23. t58 is a belgian strain.

Also, victory malt needs to be mashed so I hope you are holding the steep between 150 and 158 for at least 30 mins.

Making a crystal clear, light homebrew that looks like Bud but tastes like nothing they've ever had is the best way to get people off BMC and into craft/home brewing.
"I can make this for $10 a case?" Why yes you can!
