View Full Version : Belgian Witbier and Chinese food

I was inspired with how well these two went togther at dinner tonight. The corriander and bitter orange in the Witbier meld with a number of Chinese dishes. The light bodied beer doesn't overpower the food. Very enjoyable. I wonder if the Belgians and Chinese know?

Dry Fried Beef with Hot Garlic Sauce (sooo good)
Lemon Chicken
A Vegetable Lo Mein with a lighter sauce

In order for a town to be large enough to live in, it must have at least one Chinese restaurant that does not have a neon BMC sign in the window.
