I forgot to take my hydro reading before I
added the corn sugar 5oz to my latest batch (5gal). The FG was a little to high,
I'm not sure exactly why, I don't think the sugar will add much at all to the FG, but just wanted to know.
My OG was 1.053 and my FG is 1.032 at ~76 deg for both readings
(1 week primary, 8 days secondary) I used 2ng gen yeast so maybe the yeast was not fully up to the task, I did make a starter, so I'm not sure what happened.
It tastes really good, so I guess it doesn't matter too much, but I want to get the whole process down.
