Recently I went on a diet and startied working out again, joining my local gym.

I have done this in the past and drank low carb beer in moderation to help me loose weight.

I was wondering what is everyone's favourite low carb beer?

I have a tried them all.

I would have to say my two favourites are Sleeman Clear and Bud Select (I recently purchased in NY State.)

Any thoughts?

Yeah, drink good beer in moderation, and look for other ways to cut calories. I've lost close to 20 lbs since I started drinking beer daily about a year ago.

Guiness Stout.

Don't laugh, it is actually lower in calories than an average beer.

Skip the low carb beer, avoid big brews like imperial stouts, oatmeal stouts and barley wines, as they contain the most sugars.

I recommend the book "Low Carb Bartender" as it has carb counts for MANY beers, and if your favorite isn't on the list, you can make some educated guesses based on other brands and styles featured.
