That looks like a pretty low price, I wonder what the problem is. I didn't think you could buy a house for that much.

Last reviews listed on BA are from 2004. One hints that this place is in the middle of nowhere. A good distance from Harrisburgh. State College draws a lot of college kids, but 30 miles away? Drinking and driving don't mix.

From here east its 77 miles to the next town. The Halfway Bar is 35 miles from here and does a booming business with oilfield workers. I've fired several employees over the years when I've caught them there drinking lunch. I've eaten there (food, not beer)when I was stuck in the field for days and I was amazed at how many people would pull up in their oilfield service trucks, buy a 12 pack and take off. And since there is nothing else for miles, the state cops know its an easy target but I never see anybody getting stopped around there, unless they're speeding in the construction zone.
Back in the late 70's there was a brothel upstairs and the owners dispensed herbal medicines under the counter. I imagine those owners are probably out of prison by now.

Well, the researchers for Lowes can't be that bad with store placement. There must be something around there.

I love the one reviewer who complains that it felt like the type of place where his "grandma" would like to eat. It IS in the middle of nowhere, atmosphere or not. My guess is that'll be a tough sell, even though the price looks attractive.

There are a bunch of reviews (over 40) on Pubcrawler for the place - of which maybe 10 are legit. It looks like they tried to sell the place on ebay last January, with and asking price of 325k. Sounds like a sad story to me.

Maybe the price is a good deal on just the equiptment and that could be moved south a little to the Human Head!

I think the owners went through a divorce, which could explain the low selling price, to liquidate the assests.

Had you been there before Threecb? I never made it to this one.

No, I haven't been. Looks to be in the middle of nowhere, and I haven't been nowhere...:D
