So, I was bottling a batch of Berry Beer tonight, and having some difficulty getting my bottle capper to work. "Oh hell," I thought, "is it time to plunk down another $30 for a new capper already?"
To make a long story short, I wandered out in the garage, to see what helpful home remedies might present themselves. I spotted a can of WD-40. Hmm, looks promising. Sprayed bottle capper joints with it.
And that, my friends, is why I'm kicking back with a cold one right now instead of still struggling with a stuck bottle capper. WD-40 is your friend. Take it out, buy it dinner & drinks, and experience the joy you'll have when your bottle capper is sticking. Hallelujah! :D
