FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION.... There has been a lot of talk about Rolling Rock's new Rock Green Light which will be launching in October in some US markets.

HELLER HIGHWATER, INC., of Smyrna Georgia, has ALREADY launched RHINEBECKER EXTRA LOW CARBOHYDRATE BRÄU in all 6 New England states, as well as Upstate NY, and all of Georgia.

Alabama, Florida, North & South Carolina as well as California will follow next, followed by Chicago, NYC, and the Mid-Atlantic states.

RHINEBECKER EXTRA is 2.5 carbs per bottle, 106 Calories, and 5% ABV. It is Brewed for Joe Heller under license by Karlsberg Breweries of Homburg, Germany.

It might SOUND like a light beer, but then you haven't tried one yet.

Had a taste of this last night.

I was very, very surprised. A well-balanced brew. Light body, can still taste the malt, well-rounded light hoppiness--not overstated. Of course it's not a big beer. But definitely a quality rhineheitsgeboten product.

Altogether I think it is a miracle of German brewing technology. You will not believe it's a light beer!
