Dextolen,

A while back you recommended Finesse Party Store to somebody that was looking for a good paint store between Detroit and Cincinatti.

I stopped in there before I left for Ommegang and I was blown away by the selection, and the price!!! The six packs were at least a dollar or 2 cheaper than everywhere else, and they have Kuhnhenn's Raspberry Eisbock cheaper than the brewery...by more than $2.50.

They also have a fairly knowledgable(sp?) and helpful staff. It is a little out of the way for me, but I am sure that I will make a point of getting there more often.

Thanks again.

W00T!

I love that place. The GM office I work at in Pontiac is consoldating to the Tech Center in Warren, so I plan on frequenting Finesse a lot more.

You'd never guess it had such a good selection by the appearance of the store or the other people in there buying cubes of swill and freaking out at how much my total sale comes to.

I love the mixer 6 and 12 pack options, too.

And that porn rack (just kidding!)

Hey Dex, I have to add my thanks. Though that paint store is to far from me, I still have it and you to thank for that Eisbock. Anyone who lives with a two drive of that place, leave now and pick some of that beer up.

You should have seen them looking at me as I was stacking six packs up on the counter, and then when they gave me the total.

The guy who was really freaked out was the guy behind me when I bout the 3 6.5oz bottles of Eisbock. The total came to over $25. I thought I was going to have to start doing chest compressions on the poor sod.

I did notice the porn rack, though I didn't have time to browse. Maybe another day.

I also like Red Wagon in Rochester, there's one in Clawson, too.

I've been to the Red Wagon in Rochester. They have a decent selection, but they are a bit pricier than other places.

There is a place on the southeast corner of Auburn road and John R that has a pretty good selection also.
