so back it late june i brewed a barleywine, primary fermentation lasted 13 days, and it has been in secondary at fermentation temp (~68 degrees) since then, just under two months. i am in no rush to bottle it because even though it is begining to get colder im not going to be ready to start drinking many barleywines until late november/december (and i do expect it to take around a month after bottling for it to be drinkable). so my question is whether i should bottle it now, and have it done with, or should i keep it in the carboy (i dont need this one anytime soon) for a few more months and possibly cold condition it. does a beer condition better in bulk? i think ive heard that it does. any ideas are appreciated.
