Okay, im in the process of gathering parts for a mini fridge kegerator. Im on a very tight budget and i know one of my biggest expenses will be the actual fridge. I know that a pony keg is 17" in diameter, so i need a fridge that will accompany that. I was wondering what brands and model fridges are working well for people on here? Most the fridges i see for sale (used, as i'd like to get one there if at all possible) seem to be too small width wise.
Any input is greatly appreciated.

While it's not quite as elegant, you could probably pick up a used full size fridge for $50 or so and drill a hole through the door for the tap. You won't need a tower either, which is the second costliest piece. If it's outside (or garage) you won't even need a drip pan. Find the local carbonics vendors and get a used CO2 tank/regulator from them. Shanks, taps, handles and, tubing can be gotten from a number of places. You could also use a cobra head tap and just open the fridge every time you need a beer and skip drilling the hole. Whole set-up, including $50 fridge, less than $150.
OR, you can start to homebrew and put your efforts into corny kegs. ~6" dia X 30" high and fit 4 of them into a fridge.

unfortunatly a full sized fridge isn't an option for me with my living situation, all though one day i hope to expand.
thanks for the input.
i think im going to just get this kit

and then find the co2 stuff elsewhere. I'm planning on doing door mount rather than tower.
