Beer Garden

A couple weeks ago I was at a LHBS which is a little farther away than my neighborhood store. I bought ingredients for two batches. While gearing up for brewing the second batch this weekend (Amarillo pale ale) the wife has thrown a wrench in the works. We have been drinking my IPA for a couple of weeks and it has turned out great. friends, family, and coworkers are begging for more. The wife wants me to brew the IPA agian.
To make a long story longer. The IPA recipe calls for 9 lbs of Extract, I already have 6 lbs of extract from the pale ale. Would it be wise to mix the 6 pounds I already have with three 3 lbs bought from a different LHBS which carries a different brand of Extract. Or should I just go buy the full 9 pounds and keep the extract I already have for a later date.
Thanks for your help.
