I picked up a nice lot of serving trays from various brewers at a flea market on Saturday for a good price (23 of them in all). The problem is I don't know how I should wall mount them. I obviously do not want to drill through the middle of them, especially considering 1 of them is a Naragansset tin designed by Dr. Seuss and another is a Red Fox tin which I understand is very valuable. Any advice would be appreciated.

Rest the trays on two anchors set into the wall at the appropriate height/distance from each other to support the tray

You may also be able to find mounting devices used for holding plates,

I've hung decorative plates on the wall with these, from Pier1. On clearance now:

Pier 1 plate hangers (http://www.pier1.com/catalog/productdetail.aspx?oid=2463&returnURL=http%3a%2f%2fwww.pier1.com%2fcatalog%2fs earch.aspx%3ffh_location%3d%2f%2fpier1direct%2fen_ US%26fh_search%3dplate%2bhanger%26fh_search_pass%3 dliteral%26fh_view%3dsearch&fh_location=//pier1direct/en_US&fh_search=plate%20hanger&fh_search_pass=literal&fh_view=search)

Cheers!

p.s. OK, the link doesn't work well. Just search for 'plate hanger' - should be the first product, on sale for $0.98/ea.

I have used that magnetic vinyl stuff that they use to make signs for car doors. Cut a peice that is slightly smaller than the tray and tack it to the wall. The magnet holds the tray in place nicely and does not scratch the paint. I don't remember where I got the stuff tho (online someplace...)
