Some of the beers were pretty good, and some I found really curious choices. And the article's maddeningly slow to read on dial-up.

saw the same story of wired. one of my favorite techno sites. great seeing beer stories on the other places I hang on the net. now off they could have even morre beer news...

Yup. Me an' the Forbes folks drinkin' the Dinkel-Acker - among other great brews. Although, I wish they'd called me before such statements as, "This quintessential Bavarian pilsner...makes you wonder why anybody bothers to make, or drink, any other kind of lager." Well, then why did you list the Optimator? And God forbid you sample an Okto'fest!

Also, as long as I'm picking nits, Spaten Premium is not a Pils. But I will agree with, "Why can’t all lagers taste as interesting as this?"

And while I'm at it -- Mmm, Schneiderweiß! :)
