I mentioned this brewery in my other post, but thought I might be a bit more detailed here.

Went to visit the owner and head brewer, David Griffiths, at his brewery last Friday. Really nice guy. The brewery is currently running a 5 bl plant in an industrial park outside Ilse of Ely north of Cambridge. Things seem to be looking up for him as he's planning to expand to a 20 bl. set up this next year.

Anyhow, the main point of posting was to comment on his Sparkling Wit. He mentioned something about it being 75% wheat as well as having honey in it.

It's only 4.5% and has a really unique taste. I don't think I've ever tasted anything like it. Obviously the wheat hits right up front. Not alot of perceived bitterness. The honey doesn't come across to strong, more of a lingering note in the background. I wish I could be more specific, but I'm not super experienced at making tasting notes.

Has anyone on the otherside of the pond had this or any of his other beers?

If anyone is intersted, his website it here (http://www.elybeer.co.uk/).
