Welcome to realbeer.I'm sure somebody here has growlers they might be willing to trade. I have 3 German growlers that I fill and take to my horseshoe pit/swimming pool area so I don't have to keep walking back to the kegerator. Beautiful and handy.

I was at total beverage in annandale and they had a great Rogue deadguy growler, had the bottle art on the bottle, was a twist off top, think it was 11 for the full bottle, was worried about the freshness of the beer, was a little dust on the bottle.

Then again what at Total doesn't have dust on it. :p

Never seen cobalt growlers, but my local bottles their annual vintage beer in cobalt wine bottles. Nice package:

This site is pretty cool for growlers. No clue if/what the order minimums are, though:
Koch USA (http://koch-usa.com/koch-growlers/growler-flier/products/index.html)
I keep a half-dozen growlers on hand at any one time. I've no room/desire to start collecting bottles again (dumped a 500+ bottle collection last year), but since a few breweries around here will fill "foreign" growlers, they come in handy.
Cheers!

I bid on a beautiful cobalt growler from Germany last year on Ebay, but I didn't get it. They are out there.

I have a whole bunch of extra growlers I'd be willing to trade all from the general Northern East Coast area. These are the standard half gallon jugs and are either brown glass or clear. Most are etched or painted, but a few have labels. Drop me a beermail if you'd like to trade (that goes for anyone else here as well). I am only interested in screw top growlers as I display them by suspending them from the ceiling. I'm not interested in flip top growlers. I have a few of those already and use them when I want to take home beer from a brewery I already have a growler from.

Still no luck finding Cobalt growler, *strangling* By the way, Got very OLD Holy Cow Casino and Brewery from las Vegas' first brewery, my suspection - back in 1992, its closed! Was hunting for the growler because I didnt start collecting growler until 1997 from Empire Brewing Co in Rochester, NY which closed back in 2001. So help me out with Cobalt Growler! I have a growler collection but I'm not sure why. Most are from trips and bringing back beer. I do us my growlers from the local brewpubs too. I have one from Holy Cow as I visited it before it closed. Here is a thread where I posted a partial listing of the ones that I have. I probably have 10 / 12 new ones since.

Make 'em legal. Here's a beer lover in CT who spearheaded a campaign to legalize growler sales and with lots of help, patience, bill sponsorship, etc. it got done. Won't happen overnight. Nor will it happen by itself.

How'd this guy end up with a growler from a brewpub located in South Beach if it is still illegal?
