I have 40 (Forty) 5 gal Corny kegs in my arsenal. Most are holding the beers I age for awhile, like Barleywines, Old Ales, and Dopplebocks.
How many are in your setup?

whoa!
I thought I was doing OK with 6!
Remember the scene in the Matrix when Neo enters the building and sets off the metal detector and the guard says "Holy S**t!" in utter disbelief at the sight of his arsenal...
Holy S**t!
I just recently doubled my total to 14.

As places converted from post mix to bag in a box the Pepsi dude (our pub had their products so he stopped in 2x a week) gave me all the kegs he would pick up because he could not use them. I ended up with close to 100 before I gave most of them away keeping about 25 for myself. I just sold me last one on eBay yesterday.

We had a 7-11 go out of business in my area back when I was 18 or so. Out back of the store, they had over 150 Pepsi ball lock kegs sitting there, because the Pepsi man didn't come get them when the store closed. Had I known how to brew back then, I'd be swimming in kegs right now. I went back & looked for them a few years ago, and they were long gone. Somebody figured out they were SS & scrapped them, I'm sure.

I've got 3. I'm hoping to double that soon. My wife likes me having kegs, because then I'm not keeping bottles all over the house.
Sorry fellas, she's taken.

Yeah, I have my wifes permission to start kegging as soon as we can afford a new fridge and a keg system.

Three here. All empty, but lots of "glunk, glunk" coming from the other room...

I've got 20, but at least 2 or 3 are not usable. I plannned an inventory this coming weekend because I'm finishing my spring brewing season soon and I need to know just hjow many kegs I can fill.

Hey corky, if your kegs that are not useable are beyond repair, are you just going to toss them?

Depends on what is wrong with them. I know I have one with a pinhole leak somewhere on the bottom. I filled it, pressurized it and notied a stream of precious beer sliding across the kitchen floor. I'll probably cut it into rings to use as wind shields for my burners. I think I may have another bad one but I can't remember if it just needs new seals or poppets, which I have on hand, I just haven't needed the keg. I f you're wanting to borrow a couple until you can buy some that'll probably be OK. I'll check these out this weekend and let you know.

If they will not work for serving they may still be suitable for fermentation. I used to make all my starters in 5gal cornies (for 5-7bbl batches) and had great luck using them as fermenters.
Edit: Just saw the part about the hole so that one is certainly not going to be usable as a fermenter.

That one is scrap metal, but Ive been lazy about checking the others. They may just need seals or o-rings. But you may be onto something. One of those would make a great "experimental batch" fermenter for 3 gallon batches of untested recipes.

I need a coupe to cut up. While I'll need at least one to hold liquid, it I don't need it to hold liquid that will be consumed by anyone but the grass in my yard.

I'm up to 10 pin locks and 8 ball locks counting the 8 pinlocks I got a few months ago... Most have beer in them...

Well, technically, one. My buddy, however, bought two kegs to be used pretty much exclusively for me to brew beer for him. So, right now, I have three in the basement.
