Hey all,
Several months back, I ate at an Ethiopian restaurant in San Francisco and had one of the most magnificent beers I've ever tasted. It's called Akbar Stout and is imported from Ethiopia.
Since then, I've searched all over for this fine brew so that I can enjoy it at home. I don't make it to San Francisco too often, and it's even rarer that I eat at an Ethiopian place, so I would hate for 2 years to go by before I'm able to drink it again. Besides, I've mentioned this beer to all my friends and want to share with them as well.
My question is, does anyone know any retail shops in the SF Bay Area that carry this beer? I live about 50 miles north of San Francisco and am willing to travel 200 miles in any direction to pick some up. Alternately, can any of you get Akbar in your area and if so, you you like to set up a trade of some kind?
Let me know! I'm in a pretty good region for beer in terms of quantity and variety, so I'm in a good position to get you some of the brews you've only read about.
All thanks in advance. I look forward to hearing from you.
Cheers!
