Just wanted to say thanks for all the good advice.
I have tried my first batch (Brown Ale), and it is really good. I am now fermenting my 5th batch, with each batch I am getting the process down better, making small improvements. This is a really cool hobby.

I couldn't agree more. I go to a couple other boards, Northern Brewer, Homebrew Adventures, but the folks here are just the nicest, and the community is not as large, so it seems a little more tight knit.
