This batch is progressing very nicely. Brewed it on the seventh and racked off today. OG was 1.044. Gravity at racking is 1.010. About 5% ABV. About what I expected. I have a sample to try a little later. The beer has a red color from the raspberries and a lot of razzie aroma. I think the wife is really going to like it.

I just saw this thread - I've just racked my experimental raspberry Hefe into the secondary - I used a good Hefeweizen recipe and added 36 oz of raspberries to the wort (after cooling to ~ 180 F. My OG was 1.042 and at the transfer it was down to 1.014. Mine also had a reddish tint to it (the recipe normally is very blonde / yellow (light) in color).
What was your base recipe (in general terms)?

This was a raspberry wheat recipe that I found in "The Brew Master's Bible". First time brewing with fruit and my first time brewing a wheat beer.
