Hi Everyone....
with the recent string of nice weather our patio is slated to open this week, and next week marks the first of weekly casks on the patio. Next Thursday I will be out there with a cask of Pale Ale, and in the weeks to come I will do my best to have a different cask every week. The very next one will be something Belgian. I will send out another reminder next week, but in the event that I forget and post last minute (like I normally do) here is your official invitation. Cask pints are $3 all night or until the cask kicks and I will be tapping it somewhere between 5 and 6.

I also want to let you all know about an event that is in the works for the 10th Anniversary of this location. It will take place sometime towards the end of May and for those of you who attended the 1000th batch celebration at Shirlington, you can expect something similar.
Thats it from here....Ill see you next week

Cheers!
Pete

Hey Folks....
I regret to inform you that our patio is closed tonight so there will be no cask...BUT the good news is that I have a cask of pale ale ready to go for the first nice Thursday and I will be filling two more next week. One will be a Belgian cask and the other will be the Maple Amber Waves.
Sorry for the delay and Ill keep you all posted on next week's event.

Cheers

From DC-BEER:

Tonights cask on the patio is a Strawberry Belgian Ale. The base for this beer was used to make a Cherry Belgian that I hope to tap late next week. This beer is relatively light in alcohol and very slightly tart...it'll be interesting if nothing else...

Also..I had posted a little while ago about an event in the works for the 10th anniversary of this CapCity location and I'll post the developments as I get them starting...now..
The event will be on June 1 (thursday) and will be held on the patio if the weather is decent and inside if not. The beer will be the Imperial IPA with cask and draft versions on hand. I hope to have another cask of something else interesting, but Ill let you know when I do...
I hope to see some of you tonight

Cheers,
Pete

I was downtown on Monday night and also at Cap City in Shirlington. The brewer there Mike, said Petes 10th Anniv. is gonna be a fun time. I'll certainly try to make it on the first of June if not several times before.

Hey Folks...

If the weather holds tomorrow I'll be on the patio with a cask of Pale Ale. Sorry for the monotony of pale and amber casks, but coming up soon will be a few different casks. Today I am filling a cask of Hefeweizen that I'm going to dose with a little peach flavoring, and probably next week Ill be racking off a cask of Alt Bier that I will dry hop with Saaz.

In other news....
I tapped a keller style Czech Pilsner yesterday that's pretty light bodied with lots of hop flavor and aroma and low bitterness, and also yesterday I brewed the Imperial IPA that will be tapped on June 1 for the 10th anniversary.....thats it from here...hope to see some of you tomorrow...and yes, the Fuel rocks!

Cheers,
Pete
