Visited this place last December during a whirlwind trip to the US - good pub, nice decor, quite modern and with excellent beer made on location...
I liked the stout and their hop harvest IPA. When I win the lottery, I'm gonna fill a jumbo jet with their kegs!!:D
Cheers,

I was looking at a Albuquerque based homebrew club's webpage, and they are having their monthly meeting there this week. I was confused because the Chama River is nowhere near Albuquerque. I didn't realize the brewpub was in Albuquerque. My daughter lives there so I'll have to visit it(her)soon. And those are 2 of my favorite styles.

I'm with you, Corky. When I saw the name of the thread, I thought, "Hot dog! Chama has a brewpub!" I was a little disappointed to read it was in Albuquerque. Still, I'd like to visit it some day. On an unrelated note, did you ever get to try out the Blue Duck brewpub there in Chama when it was open?

It's well worth a visit (no affiliation, yada yada...). I think we went on a Wed or Thurs night and they had mugs for $2 - that's bloody cheap, even when we convert to the pacific peso ($A!!).
I tried most of the range, and er, was a bit socially confused by the end of it, so I bought the T-shirt which had all the labels on the back so I could remember which beers I had!! :p

The last time I was in Chama was at least 12 years ago, and we spent one night, took the kids on the train ride and then went to ALbuq for the baloon fiesta. In other words, no. I moved down south about 25 years ago and rarley get up north anymore. However, I'll be going to Cruces this weekend and will definitely have lunch at the High Desert Brewery. And next month we will be going to see my daughter so I'll have to visit the Chama River and I think there are a couple of other brewpubs up there. Luckily my 19 year old daughter is my designated driver when we go up there.
