Pensacola McGuire's 5K run

The McGuire's pub in Pensacola is holding a 5K run this Saturday and serving beer instead of water to the runners during the race. Me and a friend of mine are signed up to run. Is anyone else going?

I'm not in your neck of the woods but it used to be quite common here in eastern Ohio to serve beer after smalltown 5K's. It's probably politically incorrect now. I just finished my run and I am now enjoying my beer reward . Enjoy yourself!

So, is McGuire's serving their own brews, or just swill?

As far as I know, they'll be serving their Irish Red brew. I hope I'm not just hearing rumors!
