Bottle Caps

I settled on collecting bottle caps of beers I have drank. I once collected beer cans, but gave my collection away when I moved. Two year ago I started collecting bottles of beers I drank, but soon was faced with having to build more shelf space and soon abandon the bottle collection idea. I like the bottle cap collection idea because bottle caps don't takeup a lot of space. I could just put my bottle caps in a large coffee can, but I like to display them in some fashion or another. I'm open to your suggestions.

The best display of them I have seen is to set them on cork sheet and then cover with glass... makes a great bar top.

They fit very nicely in the jewel cases used to store CD's. Maybe you have a couple spares lying around or you could just buy some new empties from the store. You have to remove the internal tray that holds the CD in place to allow them to fit. Happy collecting!

I buy 3/4" magnets from any local craft store (Walmart has them, Michaels, etc) and then use the magnets to put the beercaps on my garage refrigerator (where I keep all my beer).

I only display one of each cap...I currently have about 200, so my collection is still in its infancy.

hey great idea about the cork board and glass. I currently have more than 100 different bottle caps (probably about 65-70 that I've had) and was looking for a way to display them.
