This brewery was opened in the same location as the Cold Spring Brewing Co that closed down early in 1997 due to financial problems. The Glueck name has been used continually in Minnesota brewing since the turn of the century. Glueck's Bar and Restaurant is a downtown Minneapolis landmark, home to the original brewery, and it has served Glueck's beers (dark, golden) even after the brewery itself moved.
