Discover Karl's hidden paradise - Located fifteen minutes north of downtown within the San Diego Tech Center in Sorrento Mesa, Karl Strauss Brewery Gardens is a microbrewery and 380-seat restaurant set amidst 5.5 acres of perfectly manicured and spectacularly illuminated Oriental Gardens which include a dramatic waterfall, babbling brook, Koi pond and quiet walking paths. The restaurant features tiered outdoor decks with magnificent views of the gardens, an indoor-outdoor bar, private conference rooms, an espresso bar and a take-out counter. The building's Oriental design parallels Munich's famous Chinesischer Turm Biergarten, or Chinese Pagoda Beer Garden, identified by its tall Chinese pagoda.
