The ingredients employed at the Baltimore Brewing Co., adhere to the Bavarian Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot) written in 1516. This law states that all beers must be brewed only from four ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast. This means no sugar, cereal adjuncts (such as corn or rice), preservatives or artificial coloring is permitted. The full, natural flavor of the beer results from utilizing the finest malts, imported and domestic hops and a pure yeast strain in producing small, hand-crafted batches. German food and the excellent German-style Degroen's beers served in warehouse turned into a terrific German beer hall.
