Dear Reuben: You're clearly already willing to drink something you can't spell the name of, so why don't you give a good Belgian or German beer a spin? You'll be surprised at how little hangover you get, and at how awful Labatt's tastes afterwards.

I agree with those other guys. I've been drinking Grolsch, and I hardly get any hangover from it. Why doesn't beer have to show its ingredients. I fel like we're getting ripped off.

Labatt's? Molson? These are popular? Cheap enough, maybe, but good enough to garner praise? At best they're utility beers, at worst - tinny, chemical crap that induces harsh, metallic hangovers. Grow up and spend a little more dough on something else... like Stella Artois!
R. Filbrandt
Vancouver, - Friday, December 01, 2000 at 16:40:25 (PST)
An extended stint of drinking only beer that lists its ingredients on the label, (i.e. Stella), has convinced me that Canadian beer is poisonous crap. In comparison, it tastes like the chemical broth that it is.

Looking for bottles, labels and other paraphanalia

I'm also looking for information regarding the

what has happened to Molson's Red Jack? It turned up in the Maryland counties surrounding Washington DC (Happy day!) about two years ago. Within the past six months, it has been withdrawn from all the local sources. WHY? First Fritolay stopped making Cheesy Checkers, now somebody has done in Red Jack. Despair has taken over my life. HELP!

I used to drink just about any beer as long as it was cheap. Then I started drinking Labbatt's . Other beers have never tasted the same. I am originally from a little town
named Alden in NY which is only about 45 minutes from the Canadian border. You could buy beer everywhere you went and everyone carried Labbatt. I now live in AL in a dry town. It is bad enough its a dry town but NO ONE carries my new found love that i drank so faithfully for the three years before i moved. I have to drive 150 miles to buy Labbatt and they will arrest you if you have more than a case in the vehicle with you.
And what is worse the one store I found it in only carries 1 i say again ONE 6-pack.
My mother recently visited me and she brought me 2 cases of it and i drank one and a alf cases the first week and I just loved it. Now i don't know wheter to drink the rest of it or just look at it and drewl. But anyway I really need to find a place on the internet that i can buy it at a good price so I can sit back and enjoy the smooth best tasting beer that has ever been brewed. I need help finding that place on the internet so HELP ME PLEASE. thank you
A devoted Labbatt Blue drinker.

Labbatt's is the best beer I've ever had. The other stuff (especially Natural Ice) taste pretty pissy. But of course, keg beer is the worst.

Beer bottle collectors anyone??

Hello. I have beer bottle collection to unload - 6 banker boxes (about 300 + bottles Im guessing)
of beer bottles collected from 85 - 95. Many are US, Canada, but also some European...Belgian,
German, French etc. All are empty, most are in good condition. A few are likely rare or antique.
Some maybe be worthless.

I will consider trade for soemthing interesting, money to charity, or anything.

Pilsner beer is not simply great beer - it is simply the best beer! i was so stoked when I went back to Canada and saw a friend for the first time - he had a Pilsner cracked open for me before I even got to say hi - I managed to get a wallet out of him too - but... now back in NZ and have made my Pilsner monument down in my flat! I can't wait to go back to get my fix of my very first choice in beer and still continues to be the best

Well all I used to drink was Rickard's Red. I loved it. I could get tanked and hardly notice it and feel great in the morning too. Well I turned 19 a month and a half ago and I've been trying to find another beer that I like. I've tried Grolsh, Labatt Classic, Carlsberg, Sapporo, Upper Canada Maple, Brava, and Alexander Keiths India Pale. I've tried a bunch of other crap too but those are the only ones I can stand to drink. I really liked Keiths so I drank that for a bit, and UC maple is pretty damn good too, BUT... I just cracked open an ICE cold Rickards for the first time in a couple weeks and my mouth is in HEAVEN!!!!! I was insane to try to find anything better! It has the best, creamy, malty, full bodied, clean, smooth, and pure taste ever. And that's only from a bottle into a glass. RR on tap is worth losing an arm over. If you haven't tried it, do. If you drink it, cheers.

Dear Molson's Rickard's Red. I live in Lighthouse Cove, Ontario and I
am a supporter of Rickard's Red draught and bottled beer. This is the
only beer I drink and I have been drinking this beer for approximately
seven years with a twist of lime. I have been put down and ridiculed
for drinking this off-beat beer with a twist of lime but I have
steadfastly held my position with this beverage. Everybody else gets
Coors T-shirts and other paraphenalia but can I get a Rickard's red hat
or a jacket? No!! Even if I go to the local retail outlet --- still,
to no avail. Since I am a loyal patron of your beverage I will
disregard other complaints about the color of your beer and using a
twist of lime in the beer because... I LIKE IT. So, if you could send
me a nice jacket or at least, the very least, a Rickard's Red hat, it
would be greatly appreciated.

Thanking you in advance, Harry, the RED FOX
840 Reaume Drive, R.R. 5
Lighthouse Cove, Ontario
N0P 2L0

P.S. I asked your Molson rep in this area for a Rickard's Red hat and
he said that for the amount of Rickard's Red that I drink, I should
have a least a jacket. But, I just asked for a hat, and I never got
one. All I got was a lousy t-shirt which I can get out of a case of
Coor's Light, which is what my wife drinks. And, by the way, she is a
little miffed because, when we buy Coor's Light, all there is, is extra
large t-shirts. By the way I'm 55 years old.
