North Carolina choices booming

Since North Carolina lifted the amount of alcohol allowed in beer, from 6% to 15% in August, the makers of more than 250 beers have applied for and gotten permission to sell brews in that higher alcohol range, according to data from the N.C. Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission.
