This is the 9th year for this fest which has grown from 300 attendees to over 5,000 this year. In beers served the number has also grown exponentially. That is a positive testament to the effort put together by a local Homebrew club dedicated to the education of all to the quality and variety available. Although perhaps the quarters felt a bit crowded at times this festival has shown that there is a definite interest and fervor for this type of event. I have been lucky to attend all nine and look forward to the 10th anniversary next year. Additionally, the quality and the variety of the homebrews is second to none in any other festival of this type. I raise a tall glass of hoppy / happy beer to all who put it together.

This event has been produced by the Carolina Brewmasters, a homebrew club based in Charlotte, North Carolina with help from sponsors, brewers, and volunteers for the past nine years.

Please give credit where credit is due. Has anyone heard of "Carolina
Brewers Association"? They certainly didn't contribute to the event!
